All garbage must be in bags and securely tied. Loose loads of garbage will be refused. This measure has been put in place to protect staff and residents from unsanitary debris at the Landfill.
ALL Loads coming into the Landfill must scale in and scale out.
Materials must be separated, tarped and secured.
All Recycling Material must clean, dry and separated by type of item. Anyone putting recyclables into the garbage, contaminating any recyclable area is subject to a fine as per the Waste Management and Regulation Bylaw No. 1370.
The landfill does not accept: Antifreeze, TV's, Paint, Cooking Oil, Computer Components, Fax Machines or Counter Top Appliances.
Ensure children and pets stay inside vehicle at all times for health and safety reasons.
Only go to areas you have been directed and beaware there is heavy equipment working in the Landfill.
