Cactus Kids Summer Camp
Cactus Kids Summer Camp is a fun and active summer day camp program for children ages 5-12. Operated through the Town of Osoyoos Community Services Department, the program provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children to enjoy a variety of recreational activities throughout the summer.
The 2026 summer camp season will run from July 6 to August 21, 2026.
Camp Activities
Cactus Kids Summer Camp offers a wide range of activities designed to keep children active, creative, and engaged throughout the summer. Activities may include:
- Outdoor games and sports
- Arts and crafts
- Group activities and team-building games
- Beach and park visits
- Themed activity days
Programs are designed to encourage participation, creativity, social interaction, and fun for all age groups.
Registration Information
Registration for local residents will open in person at the Sonora Community Centre on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
Registration will open to everyone on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and can be completed in person or online.
Spaces are limited and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Camp Location
Camp programming is based out of the Sonora Community Centre and utilizes a variety of local parks, beaches, and recreational spaces throughout the community.
Ages
Cactus Kids Summer Camp is open to children ages 5-12 years old.
What to Bring
Participants should come prepared each day with:
- Water bottle
- Lunch and snacks
- Hat and sunscreen
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Comfortable footwear
- Swimsuit and towel when required
Additional information and weekly schedules will be provided prior to the start of camp.
Fees
2026 camp fees are:
1 week: $110.00
3 week special: $280.50
7 week special: $654.50
There is a 25% discount for additional siblings registering at the same time.
