Osoyoos Lake is the warmest freshwater lake in Canada and a central feature of the community. Several public beach access points provide opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and water activities throughout the summer months. All Town of Osoyoos beaches, parks, playgrounds, and trails are designated smoke-free.

Park Washroom Hours
During 2025–2026, Osoyoos Town Council completed an update to the 2017 Parks and Trails Master Plan. This supplemental update reaffirms the original vision while ensuring the plan reflects the community's current needs, priorities, and recent planning initiatives. Rather than replacing the 2017 plan, the update builds upon it by incorporating completed projects, removing outdated recommendations, and identifying new priorities to guide future improvements.
The updated plan aligns with other Town planning work completed since 2017 and provides a clearer implementation strategy for future parks and trails projects. It also includes an updated long-term vision for Gyro Park, helping ensure Osoyoos' parks and trails continue to meet the needs of residents and visitors for years to come.
