Town of Osoyoos & Rural Water Users in System 8 & 9 are currently on Stage 2 Water Restrictions.
The Town uses a 3 zone system to determine your watering days. Not sure which zone you are in? View the map below.
Zone 1 in the map includes all properties east of the bridge over Osoyoos Lake, extending to the northern, southern and eastern municipal boundaries.
Zone 2 includes all properties west of the bridge over Osoyoos Lake, south to include the north side of 62nd Avenue, and extending to the western and northern municipal boundaries.
Zone 3 includes all properties south of 62nd Avenue, including the south side of 62nd Avenue and extending to the western and southern municipal boundaries.
Rural Water Users:
System 8 Users (north of town) follow Zone 2 days
System 9 Users (south of town to the US Border) follow Zone 3 days
These restrictions are for water supplied by the Town of Osoyoos Domestic Water System only. They do not apply to the use of reclaimed or recycled water, greywater, rainwater harvested by the customer, or any other sources of water not supplied by the Town of Osoyoos. Customers are encouraged to utilize rainwater for appropriate uses such as garden irrigation.
