Residential & Commercial Water Restrictions
Stage 3 Water Restrictions are currently in effect for the Town of Osoyoos and properties in Rural Water Systems 8 and 9.
Stage 3 restrictions are intended to significantly reduce outdoor water use and help protect the community’s water supply during periods of high demand or limited water availability.
Watering outside of the permitted days and times is not allowed. Testing and repairs of irrigation systems are to be done during your watering days and times.

Zone 1 in the map includes all properties east of the bridge over Osoyoos Lake, extending to the northern, southern and eastern municipal boundaries.
Zone 2 includes all properties west of the bridge over Osoyoos Lake, south to include the north side of 62nd Avenue, and extending to the western and northern municipal boundaries. Includes Rural Water District System 8 north of Town boundaries.
Zone 3 includes all properties south of 62nd Avenue, including the south side of 62nd Avenue and extending to the western and southern municipal boundaries. Includes Rural Water District System 9 south of Town boundaries to the USA border.
These restrictions are for water supplied by the Town of Osoyoos Domestic Water System only. They do not apply to the use of reclaimed or recycled water, greywater, rainwater harvested by the customer, or any other sources of water not supplied by the Town of Osoyoos. Customers are encouraged to utilize rainwater for appropriate uses such as garden irrigation.
