Facility Rentals - Sun Bowl Arena
The Sun Bowl Arena offers ice rentals for hockey, figure skating, recreational skating, tournaments, and special events. Whether you're booking a practice, game, camp, or private ice rental, the facility provides a well-maintained ice surface and amenities to support a variety of activities.

Table and chair rentals
All ice booking requests must go through the Community Services Department located at the Sonora Community Centre. Sun Bowl Arena staff do not take ice booking requests.
When selecting preferred times, please allow a 30-minute gap between bookings to accommodate ice resurfacing.
Ice booking requests are not accepted from the first Monday in May until after the annual ice user meeting, typically held during the second week of June. This allows staff time to schedule returning user groups, including leagues, camps, and schools, before opening remaining ice times for general bookings.
Proof of liability insurance is be required for your booking.
